1Feel like this trade makes way too much sense. Yankees need a righty catcher to platoon with Wells or Rice, while the Pirates could use a lefty catcher in Escarra and then have Davis back him up. Escarra can hit pretty well he just hasn't had the opportunity blocked by Wells and Rice and is also very solid defensively. Trading Bart also clears some money up for the Pirates. Including a lottery ticket pitcher as well to even out the value.
