    I could see a deal for 1+ years of Sims with Goss as the return, not sure about Jones though as part of the deal, middle infield not a need for the reds I think (or corner inf), unless the plan would be to move him to the OF?

    I’d be cool with this trade for the Rays, but I doubt they’d go for it. Goss should be no problem. The dude rehabbed a shoulder injury a few years back and he’s not the same pitcher. I don’t know if surgery would bring him back to what he was, but he’s no longer a top pitching prospect in my opinion. Very weak sauce. Jones isn’t someone any Rays fan thinks is a top prospect, but for some inexplicable reason the Rays added him to the 40 man last year, indicating they think he’s a top prospect. Rays are probably unwilling to trade him (why, I couldn’t say).
