    While I like this from a talent perspective swap for both teams, it does not take into account the salary issue. Bryant at 18.6 mil – the 5 mil proposed, so a 13.6 mil hit vs. 2 league min salary players and 1 who is still in the minors. For the Mets specifically, this would push them well over the luxury tax limit. And while it’s an all in move for 2020, I don’t think it is the smart move long term.

      i thought about that and my reasoning is that if they were t go get bryant they would definitely trade lowrie, if they add the 13.6 and take away lowrie’s salary, they could potentially stay under
