This makes a lot of sense the rays are getting rid of meadows for Myers for one year and there getting campy a catcher with great potential could catch for them if Zunino leaves.

This makes sense for the Padres They are Getting Meadows to fill that spot in the outfield and getting hunt to replace campy in the system who has some potential

This trade has zero chance of happening. For one, the Rays don’t trade for bad contracts. For another (and much more importantly), the Rays originally traded Myers to the Padres because he was a cancer in their clubhouse, which is hard to imagine a rookie being, but he was that bad. Rays couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. They don’t want him back, even with Campusano (who has his own issues).
