More of a deadline trade tbh
Cleveland isn't going to say yes to this...
Baltimore is not going to trade Holliday. No way and no how. Can Cleveland afford to trade McKenzie and Clase after the Bieber news? The Guardians look like they will need to rely on their bullpen heavily in 2024.
If they thought a legitimate closer was in the system then why wouldn't they? They could then turn around and get some excellent value from their surplus of SS. Maybe even a closer. I'd seriously consider it.
