2Like it for the Phillies. Hopefully wicks could be sustainable until Painter gets called up. Really like Cassie tho. But do the Cubs need another pitcher? Especially with 3 lefties already in their rotation.
This is like the Jose Quintana deal revisited, only worse. Cubs give up 2 prospects for an average left hander. The difference is that they had more team control over Quintana. As you know, the Cubs are rumored to be trying to reacquire one of those prospects—Cease—which would cost them more prospect capital. What the Cubs need to do now is go after Tanner Scott with the money they saved in the Bellinger giveaway.
