I think the Rays will either call up Gibson or trade him by the deadline. He’s owed that much, even if his contract doesn’t require it. He’s absolutely dominating AAA right now. If they trade him, I hope for a better return than Hidalgo.

Well that didn't last long. Gibson exercised the out in his contract and elected free agency.
