3The Red Sox want/need a bat, the A's want/need high ceiling arms. Tolle gets the A's attention. Conrad Cason was one of the youngest draftees in 2024, he's on the shelf with a sore elbow but as a TWP there's a lot of ceiling to chase. Allan Castro might not be more than a good 4th OFer but adding some floor to the mix is OK.
💁🏼♀️ Tolle is being developed as an SP but could get to the show quickly as an RP if the team decided to go that route. I think he’s a bullpen arm anyways but the Red Sox are going to take their time with him. He’s probably the #1 prospect in the system now that Anthony & Mayer are in Boston. I’m positive he couldn’t be gotten even for Soderstrom straight up. I’d do this and I believe most Red Sox fans would as well but the Red Sox pass.
I can only hope that Forst wouldn't be so stupid as to cave to a Red Sox counter that involved Early.
