4Minor Overpay. With Seattle balking to include both of Cinjnte and Sloan, the A's come back with another ceiling chasing offer. Sloan and Celesten are further away than the typical A's targets but they have some of the most exciting tools in the Mariners' system. Taylor could replace Miller down the road. Martinez offers a lot of projection. RHP Sauryn Lao also comes over for depth.
Not sure many A's fans would be keen on adding a dude named Jeter to the organization.
I did like this trade but I'd rather keep Sloan and trade Cinjnte instead
This is a fair concern.
