2Don't really like giving up Puk, and if I'm the A's I would probably rather have a lefty if they acquire a new second baseman, but if Merrifield can be had I think he could be a difference maker for that team. The Royals get a young 2b who can get a chance to play, as well as a potential building block for the pitching staff to go along with their other talented young arms in their system. Oakland gets a solid pitching prospect also in Bubic to offset giving up Puk.
