Not sure why this isn't being more well-received by M's fans. I think there's some emotional attachment to Marco maybe but he's just really not very good, and may not even be fully healthy. Being able to get out of the tail end of his contract and take a flier on Jimenez (who is still an above average hitter against righties) as a bounceback DH option seems like a no-brainer, especially since the M's have approx. 19 starting pitchers. Cardozo is a nothing throw-in. All the thumbs up from this M's fan at least.
