Milwaukee once again says no to the Red Sox. Houck isn't close to enough pitching coming back to the Brewers. Verdugo is a rental. The Red Sox have plenty of money to re-sign people, the Brewers don't. Milwaukee is pretty well set at 2B and Yorke is a 2B. Binelas is a lottery ticket who whiffs a ton. The Brewers would be much better off keeping Megill and Taylor and looking for a better deal in the off season or trading Burnes and Adames at the deadline next year.

Red Sox just laugh and hang up when the Brewers call with this offer.
