Comments
1I don't see the Rays being one above-average pitcher away from winning the WS, particularly if the Rays have to cut payroll before OD24 (to say nothing of their future if they lose Franco). Swapping Baz (available OD24) and Springs (available 2nd half 2024) for Cease only hurts the Rays depth at a position they have no depth. Obviously the Rays can't/won't trade Williams until the Franco situation is resolved. Rays say no.
