Interesting trade from the Rays perspective. I'd trade Fairbanks in a heartbeat at a $31MM valuation if I were the RFO. He's not pitching like a shutdown closer this year AND he has a medical condition that keeps him from pitching at times in cold weather (you know, like during the playoffs). I'd hate to see the Rays trade Lowe, but the Rays have plenty of depth at 2B. I could see it for the right return. The last piece (Raley) is harder to see the Rays trading if you assume, as I do, that the Rays are going to trade Arozarena this offseason. If they keep Arozarena and make a real effort to win the WS next season (ie: no big cuts to payroll in 2024, and bringing in 2-3 additional arms), then trading Raley is a possibility (just not very likely). As for the return, the Rays could really use a pitcher like Gallen. They should have no interest in bringing back Longo though. The Rays just have too much infield depth to further clutter the roster with the addition of someone in the twilight of their career.
