2I get Foley's value is high, but Astros don't need another RHP in the pen. Values work, but if I'm the Astros, I don't trade Gilbert (given the question marks around Tucker staying) for this haul. I agree that Leon and Myers are some of the best trade pieces the Astros have to work with though.
I agree with you actually. I think the Astros best option for trade to get an SP without giving up Gilbert is to trade with Detroit. The Mets are trying to buydown contracts to essentially buy prospects, and given that approach I don't think there is any chance to land Verlander without giving up Gilbert.
