This is a nice start. But I would expect the Pirates to want a Pitcher from either team instead of Straw and his long term contract and .564 OPS

Maybe allen from Cleveland instead of Straw?

BigBat

No, Pittsburgh taking Straw is fine. I like this deal Josh.

My modified version of a trade posted by BigBat. Dodgers get a bullpen piece (Karinchak) and a potentially really good SP in Zach Plesac. Cleveland seems done with him, so it makes sense for them to move him to a pitching hungry team like the Dodgers. The Guardians could use some better offense at the 8, and Bryan Reynolds gives them a huge upgrade there. He'll also play good defense and is affordable as well, at 6.5m. Pirates need some OF prospects, as all of their top prospects right now are MIF, catchers or pitchers. Pages and Valera are two top prospects who would improve their farm tremendously. They also get Straw to replace Reynolds in CF until those two guys are MLB ready. Thoughts?
