1I find this is one to be among the more interesting trades that involve the Braves. BTV has Robbie Ray's value as the 12th worst in the Majors. His value will rise if/when he's back in 2024 and healthy. Raisel Iglesias' contract looks average to me put up against more recent signings. It matched with preseason projections. Braves got what they paid for. Marcell Ozuna blew up the preseason crystal ball and probably some baseballs too. If, in an alternate universe, Ozuna signs a 1-year/$16MM deal for 2024 and repeat his 2023 season there'd be competition for him. BTV has negative value for him but that's not really telling the whole story. It's a risky trade for both teams to make. If Charlie Morton uses his Player Option, this trade idea takes a hit. All said though, I like it.
