1Thomas to Seattle would give the Mariners that extra starting OF. This would allow the Mariners to use the DH as a moveable feast, giving players a day off from the field whilst ensuring there's a legit bat operating at DH, which has been an offensive void to date. The '23 Lane Thomas has been excellent with the bat and good in the OF with a cannon arm. The ex-Cardinal's form over the last two seasons, plus him being arbitration-controlled through the '25 season, should see the Nats get the pitching prospects they need for the high minors in Hancock, Berroa and a power bat in Locklear as thump is sorely lacking in AA and AAA. Oh, and being a Brit I would've loved to have included Harry Ford in the deal, but I'm a realist and he's not going anywhere anytime. :-)
