1The parameters of this deal aren't that bad, it is just the return that is too light. Hendricks seems to have shaken off the rust, so a negative value (especially if his salary is paid by the Cubs) isn't accurate. I would expect a return for a rental arm to be in the 2-3ish+ return range. Bellinger has already blown up this site's value with the return of this bat (along with his gold glove and baserunning). I still expect a return to be a top 5 org prospect. Otherwise, the Cubs are better off giving him a QO and get draft pick compensation.
