If the Cubs can add just one or two more top-level players then I'll begin to think that they're in a good spot to be competing for the NL Central pennant. And this is with them keeping Ian Happ. In my mind, Happ could have a shot at being a 3 WAR guy in '23. Rosario's going to have be playing out of his mind for me to believe he could be just as valuable in the Cubs lineup. I still like Ian Anderson's upside and he'd be great for the Cubs in many ways. They should totally be shopping for some guys that are about to stick in the Majors and also be under contract for a few more years. What's the point of the rest of these other guys though? They balance out the math for this imaginative trade, but that's it. Uninteresting. I'm a Braves fan and I'd love to see them move Rosario's contract $. Happ in LF is a hot move. If Anderson's the price to make it all happen, Anderson and "spare parts", well, that's great. As the Braves, I'd rather be selling high on both Rosario and Anderson, but this is ok. If I'm the Cubs though, why would I? Why is this even worth looking at?
