1To me this looks like it would be an interesting move for all teams involved. The Blue Jay's get the lefty bats they need in the line up and a mid to back end lefty starter (and a story fans would enjoy with Gorman and Libby being best friends playing at the big stage together) while still having an all star caliber catcher. Cards get their lefty OF in Varsho and of course their catcher of the future. An OF of Varsho, Walker and Noot would be fascinating to watch and Varsho could catch if the wanted to give Gomez a few AB's now that he's on the 40. The D-backs essentially enter into win now mode by inserting Chapman, TON, and Jansen into their line up with Gallegos as a lock down BP arm. Toman takes over the reins from Chapman when he goes to FA and their current top 3B prospect becomes a scary DH option. Tiedemann of course has big upside as well. I think it would be a good deal all around but any feedback would be appreciated!
