From a Red Sox perspective, I think they could be interested in Kemp because they could us a lefty bench bat. Also, I think Kemp could platoon with Christian Arroyo at 2B. I think that would help since Arroyo can never stay healthy for a full season. And for Oakland, they could get something for Kemp, who they could be set to lose after 2023 in free agent for nothing.

Totally forgot about that. I just threw him in as a value filler because I'm not really sure what Oakland would want to receive back if they traded Kemp.
No worries. It's not an uncommon accident this time of year. I think Kemp could/should be available but Oakland's emphasis on wanting to be better in 2023 limits what they'd trade him for. I've pitched a Kemp to CWS idea for Kendall Graveman because the bullpen cost Oakland quite a few wins last season.
