1The Sox Pay 25/30 mill left on sales contract and get a prospect in Kjerstad who may be blocked in Baltimore unless they prefer him over other prospects like Cowser and Norby. Sales Base stats dont look amazing but he has a 3.71 FIP, 11k's per 9, 2.58 walker per 9 and the O's would only have to worry about injuries but for 5 million dollars for 1 year it could be worth the risk The red sox get Heston Kjerstad which would allow them to try to shop verdugo. and in 21 plate appearances Kjerstad is holding his own at the mlb posting a .238 BA .238 OBP but a promising .524 Slug good for a 762 OPS and all you would have to do in this situations is eat some money on sales contract its a win-win
