Replace McCarthy with gurriel and you might have a deal
If you're a DBacks fan making proposals for Shane Bieber, I think it would be wise to think about who you would be bidding against. The Dodgers would never let such a light offer go through without making a much better one. I understand that has to be frustrating to here for DBack fans, but that is the reality.

Actually he has one arbitration year left in 2024
Spotrac lists him as a free agent in 2024.
Baseball Reference has it as 2025, but after checking Sportrac is right it’s 2024. So yes that does change things
Guirrel isn't even a target for Cleveland especially if it's supposed to be a major piece in the Bieber deal...
