Why would the A's take such a lowball offer on pre-arb Brown, especially while they still have Kemp and Laureano who overlap in that COF market? Easy no for the A's.
please not again. the as have lost more than 100 million dollars in their recent trades from 2021 and 2022 this is also a bad deal for them. i dont see why they would do this. also seth brown is the only good player left on the as so please no trade 🙏🙏😭😭

Forst pretty much asked described Basabe when talking about what the A's are looking for going forward. Although Brown for Basabe looks too lopsided in Oakland's favor... they might need to include Mason Miller to close the deal. Yes, I despise Oakland's FO right now. The real issue in making a deal with Tampa Bay is the lack of depth in Oakland's outfield if they trade Brown. Conner Capel would be next man up if Seth Brown gets traded and I'm not sure the A's will let things get that thin on the depth chart.
