1Padres reportedly need to move salary and need some rotation help. Braves have a high upside arm in AJSS. Dodd is depth/swingman fodder. Shewmake just is a filler. Braves upgrade their LF position offensively. AJSS is a promising arm but Atlanta doesn’t really have the time to wait right now. Need to lock in to capture a title next season.
