This deal doesn't seem to make sense for either team.
I agree, unless the Red Sox are deciding on going all in next season. Which will require them to make additional moves.
Agree, if Padres try to distribute Soto into multiple players they'd need MLB-ready pitching back not 19-yr old OF.
