Davis struggled defensively in RF. He could split duties with Connor Wong behind the plate, and he might do better in a new setting as a power hitter. Bleis has the same high upside as Davis--probably higher--but he'll be an outfield star, not a C/OF lacking the range for CF. With Endy Rodriguez coming on strong, Bleis would make the Pirates better in 2025 and beyond.
