3As a huge Giants fan, I am steeling myself for the inevitable turn tables that the outfield will become with so many of them on the 40 man and active rosters, especially after Conforto opted in yesterday. PBO Zaidi has stated that he wants to move Yaz to a corner outfield spot and get a true centerfielder. That could make Yaz tradable, with so many young guys deserving opportunities and him not even able to play his primary position of right field right now. This is a pretty nice win now and future haul considering Yaz's current value. Cabrera needs time to grow with the bat, but he plays many positions ans the Giants love versitility. Loaisiga fills in a semi/high pressure role, with a vacancy in the 6th and 7th and 8th innings with Brebbia leaving in FA. Giants should go all in on this trade. I don't think NYY accepts this. Yaz could definetly hit like an all star again if he pkayed half his games in the Bronx instead of Oracle Park. He's a lefty hitter who plays gold glove defense. Yankees would want that, but maybe with a swap of one of the guys given up with someone who will impact the 2024 Yankees roster less.

doubt that Castro Walker trade would work at all. Walker is a foundational part of the Giants bullpen. Also, Castro hasn't played above High A. No where near mlb ready, which the Giants will look for. They would either go after one in free agency or give the role to someone in AAA or MLB.
