2Sproat is too far away to be of any help in the undervalue trade.
Sproat will be 23 by Spring Training and just threw 106 IP this past season, I'd say if he stays healthy there's a pretty good chance he pitches in at least A+ in 2024. His heater touches 100 also. I know Taylor's value is 7.5 but he is sort of in an OF logjam and I think BTV is just a little bit high on him. He'll be harder to move next year when he's more expensive and Chourio is up or even closer. That 2nd half last year is probably as good as he'll ever be, and he'll be 30 by Opening Day. I like Taylor for NYM because of the Stearns connection (though I know Taylor was in the MIL ORG before Stearns) and the fit as a RHH bat on the bench and 4th OF who can play 7, 8, and 9 well.
