Brewers don't want anything to do with Rojas and his near $7M contract or Grove. Milwaukee counters with: Dodgers keep Grove/Rojas and swap in Frasso.

Brewers would be cutting $44 million of their payroll with trading away Burnes and Adames. So taking on $7 million for Rojas won't break the bank for them. He'll just fill in as an everyday shortstop until they can find their new young and upcoming replacement. I can even see the Brewers extending Rojas with $8-10M for 2 years. Swapping Rojas and Grove with Frasso works, but I think the Dodgers value Frasso's potential over Grove's floor/ceiling as a back end rotation starter. Where the Brewers could use that cheap back end starter for the next 5-6 years given the number of starting pitchers contracts ending within the next couple years. So I don't see the Brewers walking away from two high valued prospects in Busch and Sheehan. With a mix of two cheap players to fill in needed roster spots (SS & SP) in Rojas and Grove and a talented young bullpen arm with years of control to add to their already stacked bullpen.
