Interesting, but not sure the rays have 40-man space for this....

I think the Rays could move things around on the 40 man, like Pages could take Ramirez's spot once he's moved, Stone could take Glasnow's spot once he's traded, Sheehan could take M Rodriguez's spot, I'm sure either Adam or Poche will be moved so Hancock can have their spot, Marlowe can take Diaz's spot maybe but I don't think they would have much interest in him since they already have J Lowe and Raley so I would think probably a younger, non 40 man prospect probably fits that spot better, or my personal favorite would be Bliss instead of Marlowe but seems like a good deal with lots of needs fixed.

This trade works on paper but I’m very unimpressed by the Rays return. Are any of the 3 pitchers TOR candidates? It’s hard to see the Rays giving up $60MM in trade value without getting 1-2 potential TOR pitchers in return, and I don’t see one here. Then there’s Pages, who is a slow footed, average fielding COF with a below average hit tool according to MLB. He has hit most years in the minors, so maybe that continues in the Majors, but I have my doubts as to how good he will be at the next level.
