In the event of a new owner wanting to start with a blank slate (which for Angel's fans I really hope doesn't happen) I think the Cardinals could offer a very strong package to take the Angel's from a full on rebuild into a relatively quick retooling with an entirely new, young and cost controlled infield (aside from Rendon, again sorry Angel's fans) and by taking in Dejong as a stop gap SS until Neto is ready could set the team up pretty well in terms of the near term if worst comes to worse. Add in Carlson and a couple bullpen arms and I'm curious if Angel's fans would like this trade? Just Trout and Ohtani alone fix so many of the cardinals current needs that I think giving up a massive haul would be worthwhile. Add in about 10$ mill yearly for Trout's contract to make it more stomachable and I think it's a trade that could benefit both teams.
