Cleveland has an overload of middle infielders in their system. They are not going to trade Bieber for another one while not addressing their needs.

Mr. Dodger

You were the one who said that they need to add offense.

BigBat

Vivas isn't going to add anything but another soft LHH that doesn't even play a position that's a fit for Cleveland. This entire idea that you people think you're gonna get Bieber without giving much in value are in for a rude awakening. According to numerous news sources, there has been a lot of interest in Bieber. I'm sure there has been numerous offers that are a helluva lot better than this. Me, I have doubts that a team is willing to give up the type of value that Cleveland will want in a deal for Bieber alone. Bieber will not be dealt if the value given to him here is accurate. What he'll provide on the field is vastly greater than this. I say that understanding the risk that teams see and the fact that he's only controlled for the 24 season. If Cleveland deals Bieber they will need another SP so if you're not sending River Ryan to Cleveland in a Bieber deal then you can kick rocks.

Mr. Dodger

I don't mind giving up Ryan.

BigBat

Sounds like we have the basis for a deal then. Whatever else it includes cannot be Vivas. If Cleveland acquires another soft, LH hitter I'm gonna lose my shit. I think to get good value back in a Bieber deal it will have to be expanded from Cleveland's side. What exactly do you feel the Dodgers need? It was thought awhile ago that a good RHH MIFer was on the offseason list. If that stands true then Cleveland can certainly help. I'm all for dealing Kwan while his value is so high, but I'll get roasted by most Guardian fans for even mentioning that. Seems like most fans love to pull for the little guy and Cleveland's OF has been so terrible that the light hitting Kwan is too much to sacrifice for them.
