Allen slots into the Cardinals # 3/4 starting rotation. A controllable LHP with five years of control Allen is replaced by Roby or Hjerpe in the Guardians starting staff from the outset of the 2024 season. Nunez is not an SP.. he has a ceiling of a back of the pen RP or a bulk reliever. Carlson slots into the Guardians OF to face all lefties. for the usual Guardian posters.. check off your normal response.. __ Cleveland says no... __ Cleveland for sure says no here... __ Makes no sense for Cleveland... __Cleveland for sure wouldn't hesitate to say no...

Roby has 58 1/3 innings at the AA level and Hjerpe has 42 inning at high A. Neither are ready to take Allen's place in the rotation from the outset of 2024. Both are interesting prospects, but neither one is ready IN MY OPINION which I am allowed. Cue the usual Gson putdowns to add to the ones he already listed above.

Those aren't put downs.. dumbass

In your opinion. In my opinion they were. You showing your usual know it all arrogance. I won't stoop the your childish level with the insults and name calling. I do not know why you put thoughts on most off your posts since you don't care about or respect the opinions of others. John Bitzer, this site really needs a block option. I am very tired of his childish bull.

Why would the Guardians trade a young controllable starter for 2 pitching prospects when they basically breed pitching in the minors? Carlson is definitely an offensive upgrade over Straw though. After adding Gray, Lynn, and Gibson, Cardinals are definitely looking to add more of a #2 starter to the rotation than a #3/4.

Carlson, though isn't someone that upgrades their roster to merit trading for, plus he's been so injury prone... Cleveland isn't going to trade for him at that BTV value...
