2Cease for Gorman might work. I wouldn't throw in Eloy if I'm the Sox. I'd wait until the deadline and hope he rebuilds trade value. Right now, it feels like getting pennies on the dollar for him and the only good reason to do it would be to reallocate the millions he would otherwise be getting into an impact player, like maybe most of what Teoscar Hernandez might command.
Eloy only works if the Cardinals are eating the money, no other reason to do it.
