Wyatt Langford should NOT be traded for a reliever, even if it’s the best reliever in baseball. His potential is through the roof.

I agree as a Guardians fan. Would adding Bieber change your mind?

Not even a little… Langford is skyrocketing through the minors and is going to make an impact for the Rangers this year. There’s not many people I’d trade him for, definitely not a reliever and a rental starter with injury concerns

Don’t blame you! If I’m Cleveland this is my first call (for Langford). The only way Texas would do this is if the thinking is they already have a good enough offense, but need SPs and a lockdown bullpen. But, yes, if I’m a Texas fan I would say no as well. And BTW, thanks for beating Houston!

If I'm the Rangers, Langford is basically untouchable. I wouldn't even trade him for any of the top 5+ year pitchers: Kirby, Eury Perez, Bobby Miller, Grayson Rodriguez. Maybe Strider, but that would be it.

Dream deal for Cleveland which means 100% will NEVER happen. Only way Texas probably does it is if Cleveland throws in Beiber and Valera. But that would really make this look lopsided.

Rangers' fan here, wouldn't do it, but worth noting that, including Langford, there is a bit of a log jam at the outfield corners for the Rangers. Right now they have Carter in LF as an above average defender there. Langford profiles below average on defense. With Garcia, Carter, and Taveras the Rangers have a pretty good outfield.
