I doubt Cleveland would reduce Clase's return by including Myles Straw.
Yeah, they'd rather have Bambi out in CF instead of Thumper.
Rays can' trade Siri. He's their starting CF.
I agree with both TA and MP. The Guardians are not going to reduce the value of Clase with Straw's contract and the Rays aren't going to deal Siri for anything less than an overpay nor should they. I just don't think this works for any team other than the Cubs.

Cleveland choose Straw over Siri in the past, they aren't going to change it now... Plus Straw would be at minimum 0 value or they won't include him in a deal... To get Clase, they would have to get an MLB bat, plus likely 3 to 4 more prospects, likely a high end RP prospect, and a mid tier SP prospect and one or two position prospects... Morel is the MLB bat, but this hits nothing else...
