2Is this a "change of scenery" proposal? As far as I can tell, the Nationals give up a top pitching prospect to get a worse catcher, decent (younger) outfielder and a downgrade in starting pitching.
I see it as a now for later deal. Nats get 3 principal players from ChC with 17 years of team control. Cubs get 3/10 plus Susana, who throws hard but is a million miles away from bigs.
