2Red Sox capitalize on the salary shedding by eating all of Cronenworth's contract, as he was making what Dugie made. He can be the Sox super utility player. Big prize is Kim, as the Sox are desperate for a 2B and a right handed bat. Padres get another young starter, this one being cheap and signed for a long time, along with a pen piece, a depth cheap bat who has pop for slam Diego but really needs a change of scenery, and a low prospect.
Whitlock at 2 just seems wrong, I give the trade a 👍
