Milwaukee doesn't want Elder, period. It looks like the league has quickly caught up to him or he's got other problems. Either way they don't want him until the Braves figure it out. Like the Braves, they wouldn't know what to do with Grissom. Murphy is too far away to be of any help. Shawver is only 20 and needs time in the minors. The Brewers are trying to extend Adames, not trade him. Right now Peralta is almost untouchable for Milwaukee. Certainly not for this package.

Elder is okay. Good backend innings eater. Should not be a no.2 or 3 for a good staff. Grissom can hit and weather he ends up at 2nd, SS or LF he will carry good value. Murphy may end up at RP but has good upside. AJSS is not that far away but I question his ceiling, I'm not as high as some on him. I agree that Paralta is probably unattainable though.

I don't see how Elder is ok after what he did after the break and in the playoffs this year. He looked like two different pitchers. He's a big risk for a #5 type guy. Grissom has proven he isn't a SS and Milwaukee has enough 2Bs. They have Yelich and 4 more leftfieldders. There would be no need for the Brewers to get him if he had no place to play.
