2West Casey, why all the trades for pitching when Cleveland desperately needs to add more offense? I get adding a pitcher for depth, but we need offense badly.
Marlins looking for SS. Cleveland reportedly is deep at SS. Cleveland does obviously need hitting but experts say LF, CF, 3B, 2B, 1B, C , DH all filled so only RF needed (RH). Plus he has to be inexpensive. Marlins don't have such guy to offer. Cleveland pitching depth (to me) is currently below what some think it is. Very nice core no doubt. Cleveland unlikely to trade pitching away, except Bieber. Maybe that's where they get that hitter. It never hurts to convert excess (depth) to add pitching. Where will Rocchio play in 2024? Cleveland, Columbus ? I understand the front office quit 2023 at trade deadline a game off lead , but hope they haven't moved window back too far.
