Just a flyer. LA needs 2 roster spots cleared so Page OF (RH) and Frasso fit the bill. Frasso likely makes Cle roster opening day. I think LHP is good gamble (Wrobleski) and young C always a valuable add. Rocchio is Cleveland depth piece at SS, and fits LA need. Bieber obviously.
Hmm... I think Pages is too much of a gamble to trade Rocchio for, but the idea makes a ton of sense...
My problem is there is no offense help for the start of 2024. Pages is not ready. He has only three AAA at bats and struck out in two of them. I also like Rocchio as the best of our shortstop options.
Interesting comment on Rocchio being best option SS. what is your plan for Arias ?
Bench piece. I just have more hopes for Rocchio than Arias. Arias struggled in his opportunity. Rocchio deserves a legit shot as well.
I expect Arias to continue with his positive development and he never struggled against LHP like last season so I expect it was a fluke. Gabriel Arias' potential far exceeds Brayan Rocchio's. That doesn't mean Rocchio isn't a good prospect/player because he surely is so if the Dodgers want Rocchio then they can send Sheehan. If they don't like that then they can kick rocks.
