I can see how this is fair value, but I just don’t see the Giants parting with Webb. He’s a stud signed to a reasonable deal who can unquestionably anchor a staff for years. Just too hard to come by. All those years of young Reds’ position players is tempting, though, and if Farhan strikes out on the FA market…drastic measures may be necessary!
