Jose Ramirez has a no trade clause for one. Cleveland is in a very winnable division for 2024. Why would they trade their two best offensive players? Jose Ramirez will remain a Guardian for a long time.

Not saying they would and super unlikely they would. But I seen they might be having money issues because of the whole Bally bankruptcy going on thats effecting them and many other MLB teams. Just was an idea that they maybe clear alot of salary by striking now.

Jose Ramirez has a no trade clause, he's not going anywhere, period... He wants to play in a small market as well, so he would never take a deal to the Cubs... Plus Cleveland isn't strapped for Cash especially after just signing Hedges to 4 million...

Reports have the Guardians salaries for 2024 remaining stagnant, not dropping. Cleveland just traded a backup catcher owed $2.3M in 2024 and replaced him with one owed $4M. Ramirez is not going to be traded.
