3i don't think grissom is worth this much tbh. the braves traded a similar prospect (justyn-henry malloy) for one year of joe jimenez last off season, so i don't think they'd be able to get bieber for grissom. could be wrong. but adding in the money for laureano is the only way to get it to go through without adding any more players. would the guards even want grissom? i don't know

I’m not sure what the knock is on Grissom, but most Cleveland fans aren’t high on him. What’s not to like though? He would be my 2B starter, Gimenez moves to SS. Seems like an upgrade to me. Straight up Bieber for Grissom, I’m in. Thanks for posting.
the knock on him is that he can't actually play the infield at a passable level. he'd almost certainly be the worst 2B in the league defensively. another knock is that he hasn't taken to the braves hitting philosophy over the past 2 years. he still swings just to make as much contact as possible instead of trying to max out his raw power and accepting more whiffs and Ks. the braves usually get these type of guys to buy in, but haven't gotten through to grissom for whatever reason
