Having just signed Ohtani I think the Dodgers need to hold onto their Pitching depth to get through this season and get ready to go to a 6 man rotation in ‘25 to accommodate Ohtani retuning to the rotation who only pitches once a week. Trading for Glasnow and extending him could help. I think it might be a good time to try and work something out with the Dodgers for a player other than an SP or a RP like a Catcher from their depth. Probably could do it without adding or sending cash to the Dodgers.
The hard part is that Glasnow is so injury prone that you don't want to put top end guys into a deal for him. Frasso is LA's #4 prospect, and I'd probably keep him as opposed to putting him in this deal.
I don't think the Rays do a deal with the Dodgers unless they can get Dalton Rushing in return. Perhaps Glasnow and Marget, with the Rays paying most/all of Margot's salary.

A lot of rumors floating around last night that the trade was Glas/Margot for Pepiot/DeLuca. Then Aroz posted a pic of him and Ohtani from the WBC and Ohtani’s interpreter (apparently) started following Aroz. All of this is 2nd hand rumors because I’m not on twitter. In any event, I think we see a Glas trade this week. Like with Ohtani, the Dodgers are the favorites to land him, but I wouldn’t be shocked if it was the Braves, Giants or Cubs either.
