I honestly think this is just a little silly, but the value matches and everyone's availability on the market is at least medium. Dbacks can likely replace McCarthy with Fletcher, and they have bullpen depth so Nelson and Mantiply wouldn't be a terrible loss with Thompson coming back too. Ginkel is a trade-high candidate and Leiter Jr wouldn't be a bad replacement. The Dbacks get another RH power bat they're looking for, whether that's as a full-time DH or not (I'm still hopeful he could play corner outfield with that arm), but his utility would at least offer multiple players a chance to rest or DH when needed. However, I don't think there is any way in hell the Cubs make this trade of their best trade chip and two relievers for a fringe starting outfielder and three relievers
