3Rays and Dodgers got together once this offseason. Why not twice? If Gurriel is worth 3/$42MM, then demand for Aroz around $35MM trade value should be pretty high. This trade is a bit of an overpayment and it might be light.
Hurt's 40% K rate in AA and AAA is insane. A HR rate that will make you wince, especially if he is forced to relief, but there's risk in every prospect. I like Rushing a lot too. I would do this trade. I suspect the Dodgers would too, as Aroz has proven to rise in the playoffs.
Yeah, I like Hurt a lot. I'm less sure about Rushing though. Will he remain at catcher? That is the question in my mind.
