4Cleveland's bullpen was a strength, so Reyes doesn't fill a need. Cleveland is not trading Bibee. His value is skyrocketing.
My train of thought here is the Gaurdians get some versatility for platooning, with both Herrera and Yepez giving them some cost controlled young righties with upside while also clearing room at short for their middle inf prospects to compete for the starting job. While also getting Mcgreevey, who has drawn comparisons to Beiber and Reyes as a potential set up option to Clase in the BP. Cards get a nice stop gap shortstop until Wynn is ready, and two high potential rotation arms to help in the future, with Chourio acting as a lottery ticket to balance out the trade values.
Bibee's actual value is equal to or greater than Williams. I have no idea why this site still has him at 10.9, but I'm sure that will change soon. He's an elite SP prospect that doesn't walk batters, gives up very few hits, and strikes out a bunch. He's got 4 pitches and 3 of them are already above average with his change up coming along nicely. FB sits mid 90's and touches 99 and he can spot it anywhere at anytime. I do like McGreevy and Yepez for Cleveland though. McGreevy is the type of pitcher Cleveland gets and squeezes a bit more velocity out of without sacrificing control. Yepez is the type of RHH Cleveland needs to add. They're not going to give up any of Espino, Williams or Bibee to do it though. It just seems that a one for one deal that has Rosario being swapped for Yepez makes so much more sense.
Cleveland has no interest in moving Bibee...
